During Durga Puja, Ramakrishna Mission Vidyamandira publishes several student-run wall magazines like 'Shraddha', 'Nabarun', and 'Naivedya'. These magazines are a canvas for the students' creative thoughts, writings, and art, often conveying fresh social messages or reflecting on the historic Durga Puja of Belur Math. For the students, this is an expression of the 'ecstasy of creation'. The annual anticipation for these magazines, released on the auspicious morning of Mahalaya, has become an indispensable tradition, making the celebration of the Goddess's arrival even more special and deeply cherished within the institution.
Durga Puja at Belur Math
বেলুড় মঠের দুর্গাপূজা কেবল একটি উৎসব নয়, এটি এক গভীর আধ্যাত্মিক সাধনা। স্বামী বিবেকানন্দ দ্বারা প্রবর্তিত এই পূজা কঠোর শাস্ত্রীয় নিয়ম ও নিষ্ঠার সঙ্গে পালিত হয়। এখানে আড়ম্বরের চেয়ে সাত্ত্বিক ভাব ও ভক্তিরই প্রাধান্য। গঙ্গার তীরে পবিত্র পরিবেশে এখানকার একচালা সাবেকি প্রতিমার শান্ত মাতৃমূর্তি দর্শনার্থীদের মন স্নিগ্ধ করে তোলে। অষ্টমীর দিনের কুমারী পূজা এখানকার প্রধান আকর্ষণ, যেখানে দেবী রূপে এক বালিকাকে পূজা করা হয়। মন্ত্রোচ্চারণ, শঙ্খধ্বনি এবং আরতির পরিবেশে হাজার হাজার ভক্ত এক স্বর্গীয় অনুভূতি লাভ করেন। এটি এক অনন্য আধ্যাত্মিক অভিজ্ঞতা।
